Section Schedule CINE 121 Lighting I Course introduces the physics of motion picture lighting for students with little or no lighting experience. Students become familiar with important safety procedures and the use of standard lighting equipment. Special attention is given to important light measuring techniques using incident light meters and spot meters, quality of light and lighting ratios. Course encourages intelligent, thoughtful approaches to the aesthetics of lighting.
